November 2014 marked FYI Diabetes’ 1st Annual Drive2CureDiabetes campaign!  With the generous support of Food Depot, we supported the efforts of Dr Denise Faustman at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Dr Faustman has spent the past two decades researching  a cure for type-1 diabetes.  Her research as lead to a treatment that has already completed Phase-I human study with very promising results. The Phase-II trial is now needed to determine the dosing schedule necessary to put type-1 diabetes into remission!
